The Willow top is loose fitting with a dropped shoulder and ruffle sleeve. It has a tie back closure with an extra wide center back seam for interesting detailing. The Willow top, with a slight a line fit and asymmetrical hem (longer in back than in the front) is flirty with any pair of pants and looks very smart with a pencil skirt.
This pattern has been drafted for women 5’4” to 5’6” tall.
This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. Choose lightweight fabrics suitable for blouses that have some drape and a soft hand. Silks, Crepes, Cottons and Rayon are acceptable. If you want a more architectural and structured look, choose a shirting fabric. Keep in mind that shirting will create a stiffer look and its not always suitable for every body type.
