You'll want this top in multiple colours. The Iris top is so easy to wear. I call it the lazy but chic t-shirt. This loose fitting but not sloppy looking top is longer in the back than in the front. It has a short cuffed sleeve and slightly dropped shoulder seams for an easy fit.
Wear it with your slim jeans, leggings or our James Knit Pant which launches March 22st.
Samples made in sueded Silk and Linen with Metallic finish.
This pattern is for woven fabrics. For a soft easy feel look for blouse fabrics with some drape. Silks, Crepes, Cottons and Rayons. Be careful that your fabric isn’t too thin or fragile or you’ll end up with a very wobbly and stretched out hem when applying the bias tape.
You can also try a more modern and architectural look with Shirting fabric and Linens. In this pattern I suggest self fabric bias tape. If you are going with a stiffer fabric consider other options for the bias tape. I recommend rayon bias tape. It feels like silk when working with it. Non bulky and without stiffness. I buy Rayon bias on rolls from The Fabric Room.

Self Fabric: 1.2m-1.8m
Self made Bias Tape or Purchased Bias (if purchasing pre-made bias you'll require less fabric)
