The Shape Is Coming Together (And I'm Naming The Technique)
If you caught my last post, you know I've been quietly working on something new — and this week, it's finally starting to come together: the sewing instructions, the pattern grading, the socials and newsletter.
I'm not ready to show you the whole thing just yet. But I couldn't resist just a small sneak peek.
Here's where things stand

First and foremost, the FABRIC 💖 Or should I say the print!! If you've been followig me for a while you know I love to combine fabrics and THIS is one of my fave combinations to date. The pop of colour for a Fall launch feels very exciting.
About that technique I mentioned
You already know I teach every pattern using ready-to-wear construction — no pins, no clips, just your hands mastering the fabric, with RTW-style finishes throughout. It's been the Fresh Press way since the very beginning. But I've never actually given it a proper name until now: the Fresh Press RTW Method.
If you're newer here, here's the short version: I use my RTW background to teach you how to handle the fabric (NO PINS), the same way ready-to-wear factories construct garments at speed. Once you feel how much confidence it gives you, pins start to feel like an unnecessary step. As a matter of fact, they will start feeling like they hinder you. Imagine THAT!
I'll be teaching this fully, step by step, in the sew-along — as before, but this time with a name to go with it.
What's next
The full reveal — pattern name, photos (LOVE the photos), release date, all of it — is coming very soon. If you want to be first in line, the newsletter is still the fastest way to find out the moment it's live.
Until then... any new guesses? 👀
Happy sewing!
